Jaisalmer, which features camel races, beauty
contests, dance, music, puppet shows and moustache competitions. Ghangaur
Festival in Jaipur is a festival for maidens and
married and is dedicated to 'Gauri', a manifestation of Goddess Parvati.
In Mewar Festival, the Ranas of Udaipur commemorate their long line of
rulers with dance and music. The three-day Summer Festival is a colourful
feast of classical and folk music and also showcases the tribal life of
